A Gallery in Lisbon
Carol was visiting a friend's photography exhibition in Alfama. Matteo was the photographer. He asked her opinion on a print. She told him the framing was off. He's been trying to prove her wrong ever since.

First Date
The next morning, coffee at a tiny café in Alfama turned into pastéis de nata, then a walk through Mouraria, then sunset on the Tagus. Eight hours. One city. Zero awkward silences.
2022 — 2023
Rio ↔ Milan
Fourteen months of long-distance. Airport reunions. Suitcases full of brigadeiros and parmigiano. WhatsApp calls that lasted until sunrise. Love doesn't care about time zones.
January 2024
One Address
Carol moved to Milan. Her first Italian words: 'Un cappuccino, per favore.' Matteo's verdict: perfect accent. (It wasn't, but love is patient.)
April 2025
The Question
At sunset, on the terrace of Villa Balbianello — the very place where they'll say 'I do' — Matteo got on one knee. Carol said yes in three languages.
